Cameras ! PC World have a Fugi Fine Digital Camera 2.1 MegaPixels
for 199Euro at the moment! Maplin Electronics sell a Digital Camera
for about 65 euro which is suitable for uploading to the web and also
as a Web Cam ! (Astra Pix) Maplin stores can be found on the Web,
One in Jervis Street, Dublin, One in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre
and at least One in Belfast.
Alternatively Kodak do a VERY GOOD range of ADVANTIX camera (3 types
of picture format) from about 35 euros upwards...A good one with a
zoom will cost about 90 Euros
I hope this is of some help .as for getting out to the back of the
runways without a car ?..Bus to Airport...Taxi to end of Runway circa
4to 54 euros

HI
I have often seen people out the back of dublin airport taking
photos, is there any way of getting there with out a car? eg buses etc
I currently have a cheap 20 euro camera, could anyone recommend a
good one for around a 100 euro or is there much point in getting one
for that price?
thanks
Dara
PS i have some nice photos from a recent trip to Kerry how do i send
them in to the site?
Gerard,
If it is the aircraft pictured on this link (here)
This is the AerCorp Beech KingAir, this is around since the 80's. I have
not heard who has won the tender for the two replacements jets that the
Irish Government are requesting. I do Know how ever that Bombardier has
offered the Global Express and a Lear to replace this Beech SuperKing.

Without doubt, the essential, THE one and only guide for the civil
aviation enthusiast
abc CIVIL AIRCRAFT MARKINGS 2003
Alan J. Wright
The new edition of Civil Aircraft Markings has been fully revised to
include the huge number of changes that have affected registrations
of civil aircraft in Britain over the past 12 months. Fully
comprehensive, the book also includes microlights, toy balloons,
radio frequencies, airline flight codes and much else. Apart from
featuring those civil aircraft registered in Britain, the book also
includes the registrations of all civil airliners likely to be seen
at British airports.
During the past 12 months, since the publication of the last edition,
the world has witnessed considerable changes in the world of civil
aviation. Inevitably many of the changes are the consequence of the
terrorist attacks of 11 September, with many of the world's major
carriers suffering dramatic losses both financially and in terms of
passenger numbers, with a consequent trimming of services. On the
other hand, the period has continued to see the phenomenal growth in
Europe of budget airlines, with both Ryanair and Easyjet continuing
to expand rapidly, with the latter increasing its market share
through the acquisition of the former British Airways subsidiary Go.
Despite the financial problems of many of the world's airlines, new
aircraft continue to be delivered and new models are in development.
All these changes and numerous more are recorded in the 2003 edition
of Civil Aircraft Markings.

OFTEN IMITATED...NEVER BETTERED...and never more relevant!
abc Military Aircraft Markings 2003
Peter R. March & Howard J. Curtis
The new Military Aircraft Markings has been fully revised to include
the huge number of changes that have affected military serials over
the past year. The past decade has witnessed a dramatic shift in the
focus of Britain's military air power; gone is the threat posed from
the Warsaw Pact, to be replaced by peace keeping and peace
implementation roles in a number of theatres throughout the world.
As in previous years, despite reductions in the size of the Royal Air
Force, its range of commitments remain. Apart form the continuing
presence in the South Atlantic, 20 years after enforcement of the UN
no-fly zones in Iraq. Moreover, with the War against Terrorism
consequent upon the attacks on New York and Washington in September,
the RAF has seen service in Afghanistan and has been called into
action against Iraq in a more determined form now that the US has
pushed ahead with its policy of endeavouring to engineer `Regime
Change' in that country.
Reflecting the continuing debate about Britain's defence capabilities
is Military Aircraft Markings with its comprehensive listing of all
of Britain's military aircraft and helicopters. Apart from the RAF
Military Aircraft Markings also includes information on the aircraft
of the Royal Navy, the Army Air Corps, the USAF in Britain and
Europe, the Irish Air Corps, Western European air forces and much
else. With such rapid change affecting not just Britain's forces,
but those of other nations as well, the new Military Aircraft
Markings is essential for the enthusiast wishing to keep up to date.

Can anyone help with some frequencies for Scotland. I have the main
airport ones but am hoping to discover the one for the high level
aircraft flying over Scotland.
Until a few years ago I was a keen photographer and collector of
aircraft liveries. I have a huge collection of photos which I now
wish to clear as I am no longer involved in this hobby.
All photos are 6"x4" colour shots.
I regret that at present I cannot respond to requests for specific
photos, but I am selling packs of random photos at bargain prices.
Each pack contains a wide range of aircraft and airlines.
(NOTE: If you do have an interest in a particular airline, aircraft
type, or region please let me know and I will try to assist subject
to available stock levels.)
Let me know if you want a full list which is not totally up-to-date
but gives a very good indication of the range of aircraft in the
collection.
Prices for UK customers are as follows. All prices INCLUDE post &
package:
Pack of 50 photos: £5.00 (10p per photo incl p&p)
Pack of 100 photos: £9.00 (9p per photo incl p&p)
Pack of 150 photos: £12.00 (8p per photo incl p&p)
200 or more photos (in multiples of 50 please): 7.5p per photo incl
p&p.
Clear skies meant lots of arial activity in the last few days. Highlights were a
Ce.525 (OO-FNL) on it's way to Luton last night and an ACARS report from BBJ 737
C6-TTB this morning.
Hello and Welcome to my little piece of the "net"<br>Here I hope we can share

engined to supersonic !
