That's interesting about Perranporth.  I visited middle of September and the owner (I think) told me the gliding club had closed down, but that the flying club were very excited about starting up their own gliding club and using the whole airfield, rather than just the one side as before.

I believe Branscombe in Devon? and Perranporth in Cornwall have recently been advertised as being up for sale.
