Visited Oxton, Notts yesterday, incredibly friendly, first words 'We'd better get the kettle on '  About 12 based at Oxton but I have made several visits before getting any activity (apart from the tea)

Two aircraft came in G-CCDV and WLSN both from Swanwick Derbys where three are based.

Clearly visible to NNE of Swanwick on Google Earth.

Another strip SSE of the village, immediately north of railway sidings.  One based, no further details but only allowed 28 movements per annum  Has its own hangar so you would be very lucky to catch it !

Great Hucklow, Derbys does not seem to feature on Chris's guide....a very active glider field.
