Yes, I was there last year and the strip was too, though beware, it was being used as an overflow camping field in the summer! If flying I would suggest Roserrow is a better bet, being longer and less influenced by unfavourable crosswinds, and about the same distance from the beach, though I believe they increased their landing fee very substantially last summer!
