OK folks, my PC is now functioning cirre tly! again, after having a
new mother-board fitted and getting a super duper new keyboard into
the bargain as well. It pays to have a 'plan' paid up once a year...
Anyway, I went to Over Farm near Gloucester last Saturday, where I
incidently met the esteemed Dave Haines again (when are joining this
group Dave?)and during the visit I was informed of two landing strips
unknown to me previosly. According to diagrams drawn to show the
competitors where to go(!) the two are at Teddington and Ozleworth
both in Gloucestershie.
The Teddington sight is easily identified as just opposite the pub
at the Teddington Hands junction between the A435 and the A46.
However, the sight at Ozleworth has almost defied attempts to match
the diagram to the local area- so rather than put here the 'might bes'
I hope to go exploring up there after having a word with the organiser
of the week-end's competitions.
Last but not least a warm welcome to our latest recruit Christopher
(Chris?)James.
I hope you all are trying to 'get out there' what with the brill
weather we've been having. Success.... Richey.
