Hi Richey

Thanks for the tip-off about Sleight Farm at Stowey. I went and had a
look myself last week and found the strip with a PA28 "in residence".
Air Britain shows the PA28 as being based at Compton Abbas so it may
just be a summer resident for the field. The strip was not well
defined and the grass was getting long but tyre marks in the grass
certainly indicated recent activity.
