thanks for reply Martin,the problem seems to happen when i have gone downhill
off throttle and back on i.e. turned corner or back on flat road,top/ bottom of
hill even when engine is still quite cold i had a quick look for any heat
transfer near carb etc and i noticed water pipe near petrol pipe and moved but
didn't help unfortunately any other ideas welcome ,thanks

Is your Virgp Petrol or Diesel. This sounds like a classic case of petrol
evaporation to me - hence it runs until the engine gets hot, then the petrol
starts to vaporise before it reaches the combustion chamber. If that's the
case check the routing of the petrol supply pipes and if possible re-route
uit away from any obvious heat sources or consider foil back insulation
where you can't. Just my five pennorth.

hi i am still having cut out problem with my microcar virgo, the car
starts/runs perfectly for about a mile /5 minutes then cuts out and when i
take foot off throttle it will run again but a bit on-off stall,i have put
new plugs, coil,leads,other box on bulkhead,rectifier possibly (i am not
sure) but still having trouble -any ideas would be helpful .thanks
