OK so one afternoon of fideling about later... we got the darn thing off!... took hours.. Relient Services (very nice very helpfull can recomend them highly)...

There's a little black button on the end of the key fob...I'm not certain, but that could be a reset button. Failing that, try calling Microcar (best of luck...
