US Cuts Off Burma Over Money Laundering

STRINGER SOUGHT: The Irrawaddy magazine in Chiang Mai seeks a
Bangkok-based part-time correspondent to cover Burma and Southeast Asia.
Candidates should be familiar with Thai/Burma issues and be willing to
travel to Burma. Pay is competitive. Applicants should have at least five
years’ experience writing for magazines or newspapers. In addition, they
should be independent-minded and committed to press freedom. Knowledge of
