I. " Bogyoke Aung San – Father of Burma "_ Editorial: Tai Samyone

_ Aung San remains dear to the hearts of all Burmese as the father of the independence movement.  The SPDC know this and try as they might, his memory will not be rubbed out.  They can remove him from the currency, downplay his historical role and try to erase his memory from the common consciousness, but they will fail.  They remain afraid of the legacy of Aung San in many ways; not just the fact that his daughter defiantly opposes their illegal rule, but that his spirit remains in the heart of the people of Burma as a larger-than-life figure, representing freedom from oppression ... ......

II. " To Revive Aung San Spirit " _ Candid Commentary : Dr. Tayza

_ While the Chairman Mao of Communist China ate a whole chicken a day and rode on a luxurious sedan-chair carried by his soldiers during the falsely famous fake Long March, Aung San of Burma marched on foot and starved along with his soldiers during their revolution for Independence. ........Today, while people in Burma are starving and dying like flies from TB, malaria and AIDS, military regime leaders are too busy stashing away their ill-gotten million dollars in secret bank accounts .......... .

III. " As Pompeii lies under lava" _ Commentary: Gamanii

_ Inside various prisons of Burma, twenty-one journalists including Hanthawaddy daily's editor U Win Tin are still being detained. Journalists who have died inside jails and interrogation camps number six including Sayar Maung Thawka.........Isn't the figures terrifying? Our country's like that, Mr. Gambari........you will find in this very country persons like the so-called Information Minister, who would smilingly and profusely tell you untruths as truths; who would brazenly and unashamedly tell you truths as untruths.. .......... .

IV. " A Recipe for the Burmese Students' Revolution " _ Opinion: Ethan Bourne

_ Peace movements led by students around the world have born fruits of democracy. One cannot say the peace movements led by the Burmese students of many generations have not totally succeeded. They have born fruits. They have made an international awareness. They have caused international sanctions and embargos on the military regime in Burma . They have been successful in securing international pressure and actions. .........

 V. " Aung San Vanished from Burma's Currency" _ Commentary : Nava Thakuria

_ In reality, the SPDC leaders were scared of Suu Kyi and hence they tried their best to remove the shadow of her father Aung San even from the currencies. But they can't wipe out the images of Bogyoke Aung San from the hearts of millions of Myanmarese living inside and outside Myanmar .......... .

VI. " The AUNG SANs "  _ Analysis: Dr. San Oo Aung

_ Those who see her, automatically recall her father because of the likeness in physical and facial features........ The present day Myanmar Tatmadaw is trying to eliminate, humiliate and disgrace the only surviving daughter of their founding father.

VII. " The Speaking Flower "  _ Poem: Sagari Chhabra

            _ THE PEOPLE IN ... ...... THE TROPICAL GARDEN ... ...... HAILED THE ... . ..... SPEAKING FLOWER ... ...... BUT THE DOUR VINES ... ...... CHOKED AND ENCOMPASSED IT ... ......

VII. " A Cry From Burma "  _ Poem: Van Biak Thang

_ How much more innocent blood ought to be shed ... ...... And how many more civilians need be shredded ......... How many more prisoners of conscience be tortured ... ...... And how many more children be left un-nurtured .........

IX. " Made in China "  _ Poem: Nay yu

_ Beware you the whole world ... ...... Am fear that Global China ... ...... Fear that Our own world ... ...... Is Mada in China ... ......
