CatSeat Invention Seeks to Eliminate Litter Box

A new CatSeat invention, which aims to eliminate litterbox odor by toilet training of household cats, has won an award from a national trade magazine.

A representative, Kevin Rymer, of Evolve Products, the manufacturer of The Feline Evolution Catseat, was presented with the award. Pet Products News selected the CatSeat for its 2003 Editor's Choice Award.

Rymer says the CatSeat attempts to wean cats of litter. The healthy alternative to an ordinary litter box, the Feline Evolution CatSeat is recommended by veterinarians and leading pet health care professionals. The CatSeat separates your cats from touching and tracking dirty litter. The intuitive design and well thought out construction features multi-purpose textured shelves. Not only do they conceal the litter and waste below, they provide comfortable footing that replicates the feel of litter for your cats and prevents the tracking of dirty litter and germs throughout your home.

The CatSeat also provides the proven option to completely toilet train your cats. Simply replace your existing toilet seat with the CatSeat. Shelves hide the water below. A paw-shaped button easily transforms the CatSeat into a normal toilet seat for human use. Simply push the button firmly with the palm of your hand and the shelves disappear.

Rymer said that sales at present had a high success rate in weaning cats off litter (usually 2-3 weeks). Only about seven CatSeats have been returned out of every 500 sold.
