Mixer and a Robotics OS   Message List

Hi all,

Just a quick bit of news and some questions. First, I've Finally got
my mixer up and running, to enable the mixing of two channels for
proportional steering of two motors. This is great because it means
that all the motor controls are put onto one stick on the
transmitter, and it's also fully plug and play. So with a bit of luck
the first batch of mixers will be produced soon and for club members
there will probably be a discount available. The mixers have built in
fail safes and are built around a modern PIC MCU, More details of
this will be made available soon.
Now for the second thing, I've been thinking about making a robotics
operating system and I want people to give me some things that they
would like to see in it. For starters there will be full connectivity
via a RS232 port and visual outputs using large LCD's probably 20 x 4
instead of your standard 16 x 2. But what else?

Thanks

Al
