Hi all,

Wind screen wiper motors make ideal drive units for robots and are
very powerful for there size. Try and keep your design light, below
20 Kg then your have more speed and control. You can also try them
on 24 Volts instead of the usual 12 Volts.

I take it the you intend to have your robot radio controlled, if so
then two15 Amp speed controllers will do for the wiper motors.

You may find that you will need to put on a controller like a PIC on
if you wish your robot to have more intelligence and control.

Have a look at Psycho Mantis on my web site, it uses wiper motors
and might give you some ideas of other things your robot could do.

As James sed give us more information of what you want to do, then
