Hi,
I am building a sumo robot but I am a newbie and have no prior
experience of building a robot bfore.I am using 2 infrared sensors
for obstacle(enemy sumo)detection,8 microswitches as bump
sensors,LM298 chips as motor controllers and Sharp GP2D12 Infrared
Range sensor.Have I missed out on anything?
Also I am in a dilemma which software to use to program my robot.I
have shortlisted Interactive C and MicroC/OS-ii(a real time kernel
developed by Dr.Labrosse).Though IC is easy to use( as fara as I have
heard)it does not give the full functionality of microc/os-ii.However
the latter is difficult to program.Can anyone relate their experience?
I am in desperate need of information even minutely related to sumo
robots.Thanking everyone in advance.
