Hi all,

You'll find most designs these days do use some form of a
programmable chip such as a PIC. This is owing to the fact that most
RC interface chips are no longer made because it's a great deal
easier to have a mini computer running a program. It makes it easy
to upgrade and also makes things a lot smaller on the electronics
side of things.

But hey if you find some code you want stuck into a PIC then I'd be
happy to do it at cost for you.

On the note of a mixer there is at least one web site that has an
all electronic mixer on, it uses 3 chips one of which is a op-amp I
think. I'm not sure of the URL but the link for it should be on the
robot wars web site. Oh and try a search on google for bob blink, he
done some RC stuff that might be of use.
