Hi all, it's a bit quiet here, so a brief bit of news ...
A local news story (http://www.newsandstar.co.uk/news/viewarticle.aspx?
id=360861) reports that one of AG's Sheepfold sculptures in Cumbria,
UK, has never been finished, apparently because underground pipes were
found.
A subsequent letter
(http://www.newsandstar.co.uk/opinion/viewarticle.aspx?id=362736)
criticises AG by saying that "pressure of work" is no excuse for not
completing the Sheepfold project. Given that AG is much in demand and
booked more than a year ahead for his projects, I wonder what the real
reason is why it was never built - pipes, pressure of work, or
otherwise.
Has anyone been to visit any of the Sheepfold sites? I have the book
and am thinking of going to some when holidaying in the area later this
year.
