Hello,
On Saturday 21st May 2005 "Friends of Angel Meadow Park", "100 Days
Challenge Manchester" and "Groundwork" will be working in
partnership to clean & plant within Angel Meadow/ St Michael's Flags
Park.
The park is looking so much better this year, however, odd patches
are still blighted by litter and of course it's lacking in greenery.
We've been awarded £7,680 from BTCV to spend on plants, grasses
and shrubs. Therefore here is your chance to get involved and help
improve Angel Meadow.
Over the course of the day we'll be:
· Litter picking
· Cleaning up stairwells, the perimeters etc
· Planting the perennial beds
· Re-painting railings
All tools and equipment will be provided plus a limited number of
free t-shirts. Please dress according to the weather.
I look forward to seeing you on Saturday 21st May and together we
can really make an impact!!
Regards,
Mike Wingfield
