Notes:
The day will consist of a walk down the River Irk from Heaton Park to Angel
Meadow, and then an event at the park.

4.30pm Barbeque by Mangetout to open
5.00pm Walkers to arrive at St. Michael's, welcomed by an opening speech from
Cllr Richard Lease thanking walkers for their attendance
5.15pm Walk (4 map) interpretation- A history tour to be taken by Laura Jagota
(Groundwork) and drama group around the St. Michael's site. Drama group will
perform in character during the tour
5.45pm Speech by Cllr Paul Murphy and Catherine Hartley to explain the Irk
Valley Strategy
6.00pm Drama group
