I think that the only other reference we have to it has been from the
older residents that lived in the area at the time. Do you want to know
where they remember it to have been?

Hi Laura

I wonder if you can help me. I notice on the maps of Angel Meadow there
is mention of a bandstand. Aside from Lowry's paintings do you know of any
other documentation that refers to it?

The reason is that I reckon I have found a 10 meter circular feature
using radar equipment located on the site of the flags which I believe
maybe associated with the Bandstand.

If you know of any other information that can help me i'd be very happy
to hear from you
