Dear all,

We are now getting set up for the summer and will send you out
detailed information on all our outdoor (mostly park) events so you
can put them in your diaries. I attach basic info, but the website
is up and running now too - www.streetsahead.org.uk

Also, sooner than that ........

Would you like to help us make a huge carpet of flowers for Easter?
We are looking for volunteers to help us complete a giant rose for
Piccadilly Gardens, made with 28,000 flowers - highly scented
oriental
lilies, pink roses, eucalyptus, trailing aramanthus, gerbera, and
cerise
carnations. The design is already drawn out – so you will be
flower-arranging by numbers! Come for half a day or more to our
wonderfully
sweet-smelling flower studio in No 1 Piccadilly and help make this
record
piece for the UK. Food, good music while you work and travel
expenses
provided

Sun 9th April 11am - 5 pm.
Mon 10th April 9am - 5 pm
Tues 11th April 9am - 5 pm.
Weds 12th April 9am - 5 pm.

Please Contact Anne Tucker (MIA) T: 224 0020 to
let her know when you are coming.

WALL FLOWERS is a project commissioned by MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL.
Artist Jo Vickers has designed a huge rose to hang on the big
concrete wall in Piccadilly Gardens over Easter – to bring the
flowers back to Piccadilly, even though only for a few days!

Looking forward to seeing some of you in our studio; please tell
anyone you think might be interested

Best wishes to all
Anne
