As summer approaches the park is looking green and beautiful but
unfortunately look closer and you'll see litter – hence we are
organising for the third year running – A clean up day on
SUNDAY 14th May 2006 between 10am – 2pm
The aim of the day is to tidy up the park in particular:
· St Michael's Square – the patch of land running up Angel
Street
· The Perimeter of the park particularly around the garages
· Some of outlying area
As you may have heard in June we are hosting "Festival of Nature" in
our park so please come down and help out as making Angel Meadow
sparkle is our top priority.
Please see the poster uploaded on this site in the section
Files > Forthcoming Events > CleanUp 2006.pdf
Like all events please dress appropriately for the weather with
sturdy footwear.
Manchester City Council will provide:
· Gloves
· Bin lines
· Litter pickers
· Collection of rubbish
· Some additional manpower
At the end of the day we'll head on up to The Marble Arch public
house for a well earned beer (or two)
I look forward to seeing you there,
Regards,
Mike Wingfield
