Hi everyone

I've had a call from Mike Rose, who is the Chair of the Friends of
Ancoats group.

As many of their objectives have now been achieved, he was asking
how we would feel about joining forces with their group, and
becoming one.

His reasoning for this is that yes we are two different
groups/areas, but as the city centre continues to spread outwards,
these boundaries will seem less important, and there is also a whole
host of new residents in Ancoats who may be encouraged to use the
park.

What does everyone think about this? I am attending their AGM on
February 27th, and I'd be glad to hear your thoughts on this before
I meet with them.
