I don't know where Worth Street was in the area but it was not in what is
now the park.
Most of the park area has never been built on: the part nearest the city
centre was the site of St Michael's Church & churchyard & the further part
was know as the New Burying Ground. Only the part where it slopes up
steeply to what is now Old Mount Street was once built upon. There were
about 50 back-to-backs along the bottom of the slope because originally
Style Street continued left at the junction of New Mount Street then & went
down the slope. The boundary of the Burying Ground can still be seen in the
park: it is marked by a line of stones in the ground which are still partly
exposed following the refurbishment. The houses were outside this line.
Sorry I can't be more help!
