Hello,

I am pleased to announce a new Newsletter – Friends of Angel Meadow
Issue 5 has now been published. The newsletter was funded by a grant
by Manchester City Council to help FOAM promote this Saturday
09th June Springwatch Festival of Nature activities.

The newsletter contains:

· Details of BBC Springwatch and the next guided walk
· A look at LS Lowry depictions of Angel Meadow Park
· Some fascinating articles on park and pub life
· And some details about how to get involved with the Friends
group.

The newsletter will be distributed to all the local apartment
buildings and copies will be available from our tent during the
Springwatch festival.
