Thanks for all who turned up to last Wednesday's FOAM Xmas party - it
was great to catch up with you all - lots of new people - which was
fantastic and some have expressed an interest about helping out in
the group in 2008 - so we'll be in touch soon.

The night went well - although it was freezing in the Tobacco
Factory!! I've posted some photos on the website under Photos > FOAM
Christmas Party Dec 2007.

The evening was paid for out of our grant funding and came to £130
well within budget.

CAS:H Grant

Despite securing a CAS:H grant for £650 for restoration of the wall
plaque on Aspin Lane, the payment has gone AWOL. We had hoped to
receive it by the beginning of December but it hasn't arrived. It's
more than likely that Manchester City Council's Voluntary Sector
Policy and Grants (VSPG) will be able to trace it and then hopeful
early Jan we can ask the contractors to begin the restoration.
We hope that once finished we can organise an Opening ceremony – so
will need your help getting a famous person to unveil the plaque.
