Does anybody know when the next stages of development will take place?

When I asked 2 years ago, I was told that there were plans for the St
Michael's Place area at the bottom corner of the Park to be refurbished
as part of the Irk Valley Trail but there has been no action on this -
it is still full of rubbish and fenced off.

The connection from Irk Street and Irk Place up the actual Lowry Steps
into the park remains overgrown with briars and littered with used
syringes and there is still a muddy strip of grass connecting it with
the park walkways - can anyone shed any light on progress in this area
please?
