Hey everyone,
We finally have a weekend befitting the summer holidays so we're going to have a
go at The Big Picnic again tomorrow!
We'll be meeting in the park from 1pm onwards - just come down whenever you
like. Don't forget that the point is to foster some community spirit, so bring
along a dish to share with your neighbours!
To save there being 12 potato salads, perhaps it would be advisable for everyone
to post what they are bringing to the page :o)
Hope to see you all tomorrow!

I would also like to ad that I am concerned about the closure of the road
leading from the park to the current CIS building, also the height of the
building.
I am currently constantly struggling to drive down the road at the side of the
road as it is so if this was widened if would be of benefit. I would not like to
area to have to suffer bug lorries and subsequent damage to the road without
reassure fomr co-op that the roads would be relaid after the buidlding was
completed.
these are my main concerns. How long will buidling go on for?

Thanks Mike for uploading the piccies so we can see what it'll really look like
if it goes ahead. It looks huge & very overbearing. Why does it have to be so
near, when they've all that space to play with?
In particular, I notice that the drawing of the Park itself shows the previous
layout of paths! This is not how the park looks now; it's the layout that was
replaced with the help of FOAM!
I trust, therefore, that all of you that live nearer to Angel Meadow than I do
have checked that your blocks are accurately depicted on the plans. Their plan
of the park itself is now quite wrong.
Best wishes
Barry

closed - so there will be no more access to the park from this street - this is
surely a big concern as this road is the key throughfare to from the city to the
park!!
