Hello,

Would you like to get more involved in the Friends group committee?
Further to our grants success we need to ensure that the financial
side of the group is managed and accounts kept up to date.

We now have a vacant position of Treasurer on the committee board.
The responsibility is:

* To be more involved in the direction of the group
* To be a spokes person.
* To be a named signatory on the group's bank account.
* To put in a commitment until the next AGM (tbh April 05).
* To do something great, constructive, for the local environment,
community, Manchester and the world!!

plus it looks great on your CV!!!

Really this role is about becoming a named person in the group -
which allows us to function and apply for additional grants plus
take a lead on new action etc. Since winning two grant awards of
over £12K (combined) we also need to ensure any invoicing is
accounted for.
