Hello,

How are your letter writing skills? I'd like to fire off a couple of
letters to local businesses suggesting they contribute to the local
redevelopment of the park!

The current redevelopment of the park is focusing on the landscaping
and aesthetics of the park, however, there is a shortfall in funding
to pay for additional furniture such as benches, bins, historical
plaques and preservation of features including the old iron plaque
and coin basin on Aspin Lane. To resolve this, the Friends group has
applied for several grants however, we feel that it would also be a
good time to approach local businesses and ask for sponsorship.

I have assembled several contacts we could try including the CIS, Co-
Op and some of the new apartments building shooting up in the
neighbourhood.

All costs (stamps, materials etc) can be reimbursed from the group's
accounts.
