Hi
We've suggested to Groundwork that for the opening event a new tree
could be planted in the park.
I'd like to hear your opinions as to what type of tree we could
plant and where it should be planted.
Ideally we should look at a native british variety such as an
English oak or a chesnut tree, however another type may suit the
environment?
Suggested ideas of where it could be planted are:
Near the proposed new arched entrance of Style Street or near the
commerative garden that is be been created in the formal park of the
park where the church once stood, St Michael's.
Let me know what you think, before the weekend so we can order one.
Regards
Mike Wingfield
