Hello Kinklings!
Alix,
Tell us which songs you like from the 'Something Else' album. I've got that CD
and there's some fab songs on it. Of course 'Waterloo Sunset' is *quality*.
Personally I also like 'David Watts', 'Situation Vacant', 'Afternoon Tea', 'Love
Me Till The Sun Shines', 'Two Sisters', 'Harry Ragg' (makes me laugh everytime I
hear that one, LOLa !), 'Death of a Clown' and 'Tin Soldier Man'.
Of the bonus tracks that are also featured there's some excellent ones including
'Susannah's Still Alive' (I prefer this to 'Death of a Clown'!), 'Act Nice and
Gentle' and 'Polly'.
Going back to 'Situation Vacant', when I first heard this I thought "what a
bitch that mother-in-law of Johnnie is !!" LOLa. How dare she split Susie and
Johnnie up !! Reminds me of that other couple, Terry & Julie. {:O>
Awww !!
I'll be back to listening to 'Arthur' again this weekend. I've only played it
twice - so far so good !! There's a couple of tunes that have been going around
in my head. Not bad to say I've got a memory like a sieve! LOLa.
Public transport - there's a subject ! The joys of travelling by train, LOLa!
When I'm travelling home from work we're usually crammed in like sardines.
Looking on the bright side, at least by being squashed together we can all keep
warm during Winter !! I've lost count of the many times I hear someone shouting
into their mobile "I'm on the train, get the dinner on - I'll be home in 20
minutes". Or something along those lines !
'So Long' for now.
