Hiya !

There was a change of plan ! I was going to have my computer repaired but have
decided to wait. I've ordered a new one and it's due to arrive in the next week
- I can't wait !! I will get this one repaired once I've got my new one the way
I want it. Then I'll have two computers!!

I got bitten all over by this one mosquito - at least ten bites in
the course of one hour. Having never been bitten before, I didn't
know I was allergic to bites!
So spent a few days in bed feeling rough until the tablets/lotion the

Sue - have you got your computer back now? It's really strange when
I go home from uni, 'coz here I have internet access constantly, but
at home, we've only just got a computer, so I can type, but it's not
connected yet.

Oh, I hated it when I kept getting loads of junk from UCAS. I was
fed up of all those flyers - I found about one out of the hundreds I
got was useful...
I'm sure you'll find it useful. I didn't really enjoy university.
It was quite a lot due to the fact I was ill for a lot of the time
(Aberdeen must be sheltered from lots of bugs, 'coz I'm rarely sick
at home), especially during the first term, which meant I missed a
lot of the coursework, and missed all the social events. The other
big problem was that the course was all geared to the English
syllabus, whereas I had done the Scottish. You wouldn't think they'd
be that much different, but the stuff I hadn't done, was assumed we'd
done in great detail before, and was skipped over, and the things I
had done, they assumed we hadn't, and taught us anew, in less depth
than at school!
Urgh! Rant over. I'm sure you'll have a great time - I did enjoy
being away from home (missed my family, but I like cooking for
myself, doing what I like, etc). Keep in touch though!

Anyway, this is rather long, so I'll stop now, and try and call back
soon!
