Hi guys,
just to let you know, my Hall Green class are organising a small scale
end of term hafla, as a lot of the students cannot attend the main Bamba
Hafla on the 31st July. The night will be women only and a great excuse
to glam up and have a shimmy. There will be relaxed group and solo
performances from the class, as well as a small bring and buy souk. More
details follow below.

The venue is Highfield Hall, Highfield Road, Hall Green, B28 0HS and the
date will be Weds 15th July. Entry will be £5 each to cover the cost of
the room.

We'll have the room from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, if you are performing, please
come dressed as we'll want to make a start asap. There will be limited
changing facilities on site.

If you'd like to perform, just let me know and I'll add you to the bill,
you can even decide on the night, as long as there is space to fit you in!

For those interested in bringing items to sell/swap in the "bring and
buy", please pin or staple a label to each item, stating your name and
the price you'd like. It will be very relaxed so I'm sure you'll be able
to practice your haggling skills!

If we have time after the dances, we'll have a bit of a belly disco, if
you have a favourite track you'd like to play, just bring the cd along.

You can bring nibbles and drinks to share.
