Dear Dancing Friends - Hello!
As Spring bursts forth and my feet find their spring again I'm just contacting you to remind you of various events that are lined up.
The Middle Eastern Music and Dance Camp in Dorset (low resolution flyer attached) is attracting interest - however we are really keen for more people to come! The location (only 2 miles from the sea) is delightful and it is such a great opportunity to dance, make music and hang out together - community building at it's very best. Dancing in the natural environment is one of the highlights of my life and to have Amel, Salah Chas and Maren bringing their gifts of dance and music is very special.
Nurabia has received funding from Awards for All to enable the camp and to provide subsidies for people who might not otherwise be able to afford to come - so it would be great if you could pass on this information to anyone who might like to take up this offer. I still have a few fliers left so do please let me know if you'd like some.
Details of the Camp and Turkey can be seen at: www.arabicsouldance.com
Also on the horizon are our delicious Holidays in Turkey. This will be our 5th year in Dalyan and people just fall in love with the place - and again we hope to provide some help with subsidies where possible thanks to Nurabia.
Dates for your diary are: Deepening in Dance with Karine 23 - 30 August
Creative Writing with Jane Flood 30aug - 6 September

Much further off in the future in 2008 -
I shall be returning to the Tunisian Sahara to spend a week with the Bedouin - and this time I shall be running a dance course from 28 March - 4 April. For those of you who have had a yearning to spend time in the desert it is one of the most extraordinary experiences - quite humbling and awesome. You can find out more about it on www.desertjourney.net
and ...there will be a brand new dance festival Sirocco in Frome from 18 - 20 April - do please put the dates in your diary - more information will follow ...!
