The soundtrack states that as if is a "carnival
films production in associtaion with Columbia Tristar
International Television". Now Columbia Tristar are
merely a big company that dont care too much as long
as there are enough people ie 10 000? interested in
buying. For information on carnival films see

however as you will notice their website doesnt exist.

However since their website isnt working i wonder if
if anyone has rung them?


If anyone has freeview then you will note that itv3
etc often play carnival film productions such as
jeeves and rooster and poirot. Perhaps a decade or so
down the line they will still make more money than
selling the DVD to up to 1280 people from a online
petition. I wonder also if their problem is that they
are big enough to make good quirky tv but not large
enough to distribute the DVD so require good partners.
But where exactly the blockage is i do not know.
Carnival films has put has just come on DVD on March
7th 2005 (read the amazon review and he states fans
were also desperate for a dvd)
so using a rough scale i reckon there will be dvd
out in 2010 (last time i believe shown on uk tv was
2004 (2005-1999 BUG TV showing = 6 years, 6+2004=2010)
unless they get encouragement.

Finally the UK government was considering giving
channel 4 more of the license fee so maybe as if
repeats or more?

Anyway im a skint student at a yorkshire university
otherwise i would ring them up, and may do.

Mind you i wouldnt be surprised if this has been done
by someone else. If enough interest and this has not
done for a while then i might give them a ring.

Anyway thats my 1 hour rant done, what do you think?
