Thank you for your comments Jannie, excellent observations, and your right to
point out some of the difficultys we all experience to differing degrees.I dont
think its negative to bring up these things amongst friends, like on this site.
Sometimes when I read I get the wrong meanings and generally have to return and
reread the same piece and lo and behold I read and find a different more
positive meaning! Misinterpretation in reading and speech!
The mysterys of communication! where to start!
I went to trumpington road cambridge, a couple of weeks age and went through the
Mind Reading software at Austic Research Centre. I never realised there was so
much information in a face! Definalely a good experince, enen if it was a little
confusing, I m going back there in April for the follow. Apparently Im one of
the last adults to be tested in there research into facial recognision.
My social group idea has gone a little pear shaped, the Volunteeer Burea who
where helping, have messed things up, let me explain.
I met somebody from my past I asked if they could help with a social gruop, she
said she was more than happy. I passed this info on to burea. At the same time I
m trying to get a Social enterprise scheme going to help those of us excluded or
marginalesd from paid work.
The women I was dealing with in the burea, asked me if I had her Telephone
number(of course i didnt since i dont socialise as such)
The women then tells me her manager knows my friend and will get her number for
me. Then I get a phone call saying that I cuold not have the number as her
manager had talked my friend and agreed she coulnt help on the social enterprise
scheme! I went ballistic. My friend was to help in some way(not defind) a
social gruop, not a business.
This sort of behavoiur of NT's is yust unreal, so disimpowering, and on a
positive note! Im still going to get a social gruop together! So I feel very
heartend to Deans experience of a aspie social group, and your right Jannie,
some kind of facilitater might be neccasry, but whose to say we couldnt do it
for ourselves?
I agree with Molqurie, animals definately help, i swear they undestand us so
much better than we realise. They definelty are perhaps the Best healers in the
world.
Look foreward to hearing from you,
All the Best,
Shaun.
