buying rounds + AS in the family   Message List

Hi Jon,
some very interesting points there.

I've also never been sure when it's appropriate to buy a round, but
I've noticed that most people wait till their own glass is empty,
irrespective of anyone else. I've started doing this, and it seems to
work. No-one's complained about having to wait a while, and those who
haven't finished often accept anyway (if they don't I'll try to find
an opportunity to buy them a drink later).
I suppose it is partly down to paranoia, but then paranoia is also an
AS trait isn't it?

As for the family question, my grandmother almost certainly had AS,
but neither of my parents do (or show any traits), which would
reinforce the genetic argument, as in my case AS seems to have
skipped a generation.

Tony.
