Sounds much like me. But I'm very content that way: my "neutral" is a
fairly pleasant neutral. Since most people seem to experience a much
larger proportion of extreme negative emotions than extreme positive
emotions, then on my reckoning it's more healthy not to experience
the extreme emotions at all.
You (and others) might be interested in Plutchik's classification of
emotions in "cone" form - mapping "category of emotion"
against "intensity of emotion". See:
http://www.fractal.org/Bewustzijns-Besturings-Model/Nature-of-
emotions.htm
I seem to be mainly at the bottom of the cone, with occasional forays
into the mid-section. Most NT's seem to be mainly in the mid-section,
with occasional (or frequent) forays into the top "extreme" end. It
would be interesting to hear of other aspies' experiences here.
