Re: [Aspies dugout] Again me,

Hi tim
there is what is called an autistic spectrum
on the one hand you have 1's who can understand basic
faces like happy and say and on the other hand you
have the 10's who are compleatly shut in and are not
reachable easily if at all with any sort of
comunication

it sounds like you may not have aspergers or may be a
one from your description here and like I said earlier
you do not have to have all 60 traits of aspergers in
order to be aspergic.

have a look on the national autistic web site (
english link )and see what they have to say.

have a good eavening

But I still don't understand one thing, that you might
explain to me.
How can you don't understand nonverbal comunication. I
simply don't
get it. What you don't know what smile is, or how an
angry mans face
looks like. Or am I interpretating it too literaly.
Could anyone
explain me this thing in details. I personaly haven't
noticed any
notices of this symptom in my behaviour. Sometimes I
even think that
I'm more understanding than most people. I mean, I can
simply look at
a human face and understand how is he feeling or maybe
what he's
thinking. And that is the biggest problem. In
Asperger's description
this problem is probably the most important. I do
understand people,
they don't have to say things literaly for me to
understand what they
want to say. And I'm even better at understanding what
people don't
want to say, what maybe they want to hide. All those
clues from voice
temper, body languadge really gives up everything and
I don't
understand how on Earth it is possible not to
understand them. Yes, I
don'r reply to them, maybe becouse I don't want to. I
don't really
like people. I really don't. When I have to talk with
people I dont
know what to say, I'm afraid I will say something
really stupid (and i
often do) and people often misunderstand think that I
said something I
didn't want to say. Thats why i like being alone. You
don't have to
pretend, you can be yourself. I have bad social skils,
but that
doesn't mean that I don't understand nonverbal
comunication. I think I
better understand what people want to say, than they
really say. But
thats just my opinion and I might be wrong.
Can anyone write what that description really means,
and how in youre
case this disability is effecting your life.
