Re: [Aspies dugout] Re: [Aspies dugout] Where am I?

Hi Gaynor

First of all thank for sharing your interest. Those are good interests you have
politics and science. I find them interesting. I love movies, history, and ocean.
I am a big science fiction fan. I do agree there are more things to talk about
than religon. Religons are complex things. The thing I can say is the true
religon is the most loving and careing.
Gaynor I hope things are going well in your job search.
i will keep you in your prays.

Your Friend in America and In Christ
David

1. Asperger is not a disease.
2. I even said in my message that I was not religious anyway.
3. People with Asperger have interests in other things and talk about them
for example some people go on about trains. My main interest is politics,
and second is maybe biological sciences (where I don't agree with the
religious method at all for evolution but I know that plenty of religious
people also think the religion is a metaphor in this area). Some people's
interest is religion. If you wanted to talk about something else, you can
do that.
4. People with Asperger do NOT ALWAYS have to just talk about AS. That
would be as stupid as people with physical disability always just talking
about wheelchairs.
5. I like this group because people are not just jumping at people and being
aggressive, please don't change that. Being aggressive is not like an
Asperger characteristic it is more like conduct or sociopathic disorder.
6. Religious, political and metaphysical questions are important for people
with Asperger just like they are for everyone else.
7. In social skills, it is often better just to ask a question if you want
to know about something and not just complain that someone didn't tell you
already. If you wanted just to know information about AS there are plenty
of sites on the internet e.g. National Autistic Society, OAASIS, As-If
(Asperger Information .net).
8. If you look in the message archives you will find plenty of discussion
about other topics.
