Most of the people who set themselves up as Christian counsellors are
self-appointed experts who force their attentions on people anyhow.
Imagine telling someone in depression that if they don't get their act
together they'll be frying in hell - yet that's what they do.
I knew someone who had a particular psychiatric problem and who
decided to go to a selection of Christian counsellors and time how
long it was between going through the guy's door and being given the
final answer.
I gather the longest time was about 90 seconds.
