Hi all :)
So there I was, watching the news on television the other day and
there was this dumbass woman spouting about how the day would be fine
and there were no worries about terrorist attacks as 'God will
protect us'.
So was she saying there was something morally deficient with all the
unlucky sods on those aircraft and in the buildings on September
11th? Or was she really just stupid?
It's easy to say that god will do this that & the other - but when
was the last time he/she/it wrote into the Times giving details of
upcoming events, catastrophes and miracles? How do these halfwits
*know* that they'll be safe from attack but the *other* lot must've
kinda deserved it?
Just because they put 'In God we trust' on the money (that would have
gone down well @ the temple in the time of Jesus, LOL) and get it
rammed down their throats in school (at an indoctrinatable, er,
impressionable age of course) then does that mean that Americans are
true believers or just well versed?
One point - for all of us non-believers out there... When was the
last time you went door to door telling people that if they did
believe in god they were in for a surprise? So why do 'they' always
come round telling us we're going to hell if we don't sign up
for 'their' version of religion? (Esp. when I've had a crap night at
work and about 90 minutes sleep :(
Have faith in yourself ppl. Take responsibility for your actions -
your success is down to you - your failures also. If you get cancer -
it isn't God's will, it's shitty luck - go see a doctor real quick.
If you win a gazzillion on the lottery - you won it, god didn't go
out and buy the ticket for you.
Oh yeah - and I know it's a bit naive but, if we could all just get
along, even for one day, wouldn't things be sweet? Go smile at
someone, kiss someone you love and don't yell at the kids for a while.
Then they'll lock you up for being a mental case :(
Regards,
Gary
