I agree with both propositions.
I looked at his web site, it is all in capitals with
no full stops. Dubya is not the only Texan who can't
communicate in plain english. Having been a fundie
christian (maybe a tad more coherent than Wisebuilder)
I find it hard to remember how that mindset worked.
There is a distinct experience of tuning out your mind
to any idea but the one you have adopted. No matter
how irrational. In fact the more irrational the more
you have to deny anything else as being real. I
suppose the closest to it is being drunk. At the point
where you can still walk and get yourself home but
there is a huge effort of the will not to just lie
down and sleep it off in the gutter. You find youself
with tunnel vision sometimes being completely absurd
as you try to open next door's front door with your
key. Or typing incoherrent nonesense frantically
without stops and realising you left caps lock on.
