hi tony,

religion has encapsulated many good things within it
For example the idea of helping your neighbour,
peace , love etc

though these may be obtained outside religion too in natural human
feelings and thoughts.
animals do it too but religion has given it order,
written it down and propagates it forward when many of us dont have
the time for it.
as for the paranormal i dont think all of religion is paranormal.
one has to pick and choose.
i do like to stay a step away from religion but religion touches every
aspect of our lives we just have to deal with it, i guess.
