At funerals of friends and family, i often cry, this
is because i
feel that the deceased is just that, deceased,
stopped..i will never
see that person ever again. Why is it that my
religious friends are
just as upset as me? Surely they KNOW that our good
friend will be
going to heaven ,a place so wonderful and perfect that
it defies
description and they will one day meet them there? If
i believed
that, i would be really pleased for them, wouldnt you?
I think i
would be sat there in the same frame of mind as when 2
good friends
get married...(at a registry office of
course)....really happy for
them!

The church near my house is getting a £2,000,000 refit
and down
the
road they are going to build a brand new £4,000,000
Catholic
church!
35,000 children die in Africa every day....dont you
think 'Jesus'
would rather that money was spent on keeping children
alive than
keeping affluent people in palacious surroundings? I
think its an
absolute disgrace! Have these people no power of
rational thought?

I was at a wedding in a local church the other day
and at the
beginning of the service the vicar asked if we could
donate to the
church....and all fill a form in on the way out so
they could claim
back the tax! This was said at a WEDDING SERVICE! What
a cheek,and
the church service had already been paid for by the
Bride and Groom!
