Re: [Atheism UK] mad mad mad

Paul,

It is no more a "criminal" matter than any other stupid religious
belief. Religion is inherently illogical and unreasonable. Whether
its tenets breach local law or not is essentially irrelevant to that
fact. We are always free to criticize anything, religion included, if
people are offended then they need to consider whether their beliefs
are ridiculous or whether they should simply ignore the criticism but
in any case the problem of being offended lies entirely with them.

Belief and Faith mean the same thing and have nothing to with
knowledge which is about matters of fact not superstition, noone has
faith, blind or otherwise, in "Science" since it is not a dogma and
has no supernatural elements at all, though at times it can be much
stranger than any invented system.

To address something you asked earlier, why don't you just push off
after all? We don't especially want people to come here and apologize
for religionists, this is an ATHEIST group.

John

P.S. Please learn to cut the dross out of your posts (i.e. don't
simply repost the entire thread) and please also trim the post you are
actually replying to, if you must quote it at all.
