Strictly speaking, I'm not sure if i am an atheist. I don't believe
in god, or answers to the big question....
Because I don't believe in a big question.
Could anyone tell me what it's supposed to be?
Surely it can't be why are we here- that's stupid. Who cares.
Why was lemon curd created? Who cares, it does what it does.
But I also don't believe in science (any further than we can test it
as a working theory).
Isn't it funny though (having watched that programme on the trouble
with atheism the other day), the begining in both religious AND
scientific, is not the begining.
There is always something before- the big bang what created it???
Obviously something- so it's a change not the begining.
God (what the hell was 'he' doing before us, playing solitaire? or
did 'he' have a smaller eden allotment that he pottered through of
an evening- oops sorry, no evenings back then. Or did he murder all
the other 'gods' and then get bored and create some crappy
disobedient models of them called people?
Where did God come from anyway then? -ooh, shouldn't ask that, just
have faith... In what? you haven't told me anything yet. What have
faith that he just was... isn't that what you argue couldn't have
happened to us, like an accident in nothing. Surely it's easier to
believe that with everything on earth (evolution) than with a God,
who then goes on to make everything!
When people can start answering these I'll be impressed and
interested, until then hey, anything's possible!
I think there was a huge piece of turbulent rubber that had arrisen
from nothing- damn that doesn't work, where did that come from...
There is no begining people! things have always been. Just because
you wont always be-
Get over it. If you've got time to think about it, you're a very
lucky person. Praise life.
