Hi I just joined this group after coming across a link on the English
Atheist's page - I have gradually over the last few years become more
vocal in my atheism- largely in response to the increasing
fundamentalism of 'faiths'. I am also concerned about the way the UK
is going - towards the USA that is- with their 'faith based schools'
and increasing fundamentalist influence. I hate the assumption that
because I'm British I must be a Christian and have begun to fight that
over the ast few years- recently expanding into finding like-minded
people.

I am Pam and I work in the youth justice system, 45 years old with two
free-thinking grown up children :)
