also- I agree some of the rarer church buildings should get a little
help from the state but in no way should we be paying for their upkeep
if the church has coffers of money they are sitting on- look at old ma
teresa! she got loads of money from people to ostensibly help the poor
but it all went into the order's bank accounts and bought candlesticks
and other 'useful' things.
