Sydney Private Bus Timetables.

List updated to show that Region 15 (Busways Campbelltown) review will also be implemented on 18/8/2008  - details of new timetables still to come.

Nationalbus have issued new timetables for the following routes, dated August 2008, which come into effect on August 18. All are in Metlink pocket format:

* 200 City - Doncaster Shoppingtown / 203 City - Doncaster Shoppingtown / 205 Melbourne University - Doncaster Shoppingtown (TT #5)

* 201 City - Doncaster Shoppingtown / 202 East Kew - Box Hill / 302 City - Box Hill (TT #2)

* 207 City - Donvale / 307 City - Mitcham (TT #4)

* 235 City - Fishermans Bend / 237 City - Fishermans Bend / 238 City - Port Melbourne (TT #13)

* 246 Elsternwick - Latrobe University (TT #14)

* 250 Garden City - Latrobe University / 251 Garden City - Northland / 253 Garden City - North Carlton (TT #15)

* 270 Box Hill - Ringwood / 271 Box Hill - North Nunawading (TT #7)

* 340 City - Latrobe University / 350 City - Latrobe University (TT #16)

The new timetables have been designed with the aid of GPS tracking. To ease overcrowding, additional services are provided on Route 235 (8:05 ex City & 16:48, 17:02 ex Fishermans Bend) & Route 302 (07:34 ex Box Hill & 17:30 ex City). The new timetables also make permanent routing changes made to routes 235, 237, 238, 250, 251, 253, 340 & 350, that started on March 31 2008, which see them avoid Flinders Street in the CBD, due to traffic congestion. Also of interest, timetables #13, #14 & #15 are in Metlink format for the first time.
